Over the months of curating and hosting Domicilium, many initially intimidating plans have come to life. We’ve moved to a larger venue, changed the format of the night and begun releasing our Domicilium Quarterly, online and in print.
The second issue, the Spring Quarterly, is now out. It is a compilation of works by authors who performed at Domiciliums in March, April or May. It includes images by local artists. Our cover art (above) was graciously created by Freddy Marschall. (I’d truly recommend checking out his works on his website & Instagram account!)
The Spring Quarterly is a compilation of works ranging from the heart-breaking to the deeply sensual, from the surreal to the deeply real, including pieces on teaching English to kindergarteners, trying to get a one’s hair cut as a black person in Berlin, or seeking connections.

Heartfelt thanks to Freddy Marschall, Bronwyn Carter, Marc Seestaedt, Cullan Maclear and Justin Bongi for contributing images for this Quarterly.

We still have some printed Quarterlies left. We’ll be selling them at the next Domicilium on the 12th of August at Fahimi Bar.
